Nature / Landscape

Mountains occupy most of these images, captured at the hours when the light offers the most beautiful volumes, whether at dawn or at dusk.

I often go there at off-peak hours, against the flow of the crowd, meeting only the last hikers on their way back down. Every so often, I find myself under the distant gaze of wildlife enjoying the calm that has returned.

Reaching the right moment takes physical effort, along with the occasional frustration of coming away with a single image, or none at all. The light, for its part, lasts only a few brief minutes before it disappears.

One can hope to see it again another day, though it will not be quite the same.
